Michael Smethurst developed the one of RockShox's first websites.  The site's goal was to introduce the concept of bicycle suspension to a broader market and establish RockShox's leadership position in the bicycle component market.

Guinness

 As part of an ongoing public relations campaign.  Michael Smethurst, as principal of Amplified Industries Inc., created a highly successful social media web event for Guinness Beer.

The Guinness Party of Canada website and campaign, created a large and highly engaged database of Guinness loyalists.  The website featured a "face maker" application that allowed users to create a profile and "run" for the position of chairman of the "Guinness Party of Canada".

 

Jamba Juice

 Michael Smethurst was the producer of the original Jamba Juice website.  The strategy for the Jamba Juice website was twofold:

  1. Capture the bright and engaging in-store experience for the web
  2. Create an informational site for potential franchisees to request information and self-qualify themselves
